This week was challenging, I am finding it hard to settle on a concept for my project on creative cut. despite researching and looking at various technical skills in the "Pattern Magic" books for this practice, I am not feeling particularly inspired. I believe this is partly due to not being fully focused on the work at hand due to personal issues. However I also feel as if my stubbornness to remember the shape and style of the original Shirt design is clouding my mind. I am struggling to be imaginative and create something new.
On Thursday I took a walk around Norwich in search of inspiration, to find things that I liked. I found this helpful as it pointed out a common theme, curved lines. This is now going to become the basis of my designs. however I believe I still need to sit down and think about exactly what I wish to achieve with this project.

On Monday I plan to go to "Anglia Fabrics" and source some materials for the Shirt, in the hopes of inspiring more ideas. My plan is to have a silhouette decided by the end of the week.
