Monday: Unfortunately today I was incredibly ill, This has been really frustrating as I had such a full day today, I will need to do everything I can to catch up by the end of the week. I did however manage to make some progress in designing for the Moncler collection. I looked through some of my old sketchbooks for inspiration. and realised I was so focused on coming up with a design instead of being experimental that I had lacked inspiration. so I decided to look out the window and do some mark marking and see if anything related. this helped me, think of new silhouettes so hopefully now I will be able to move forward.

Tuesday : As well as working with my mentor today we had a mid unit review. I found this really helpful, I spoke about my t-shirt design and how I need to improve it, as it looks to refined. I may try dying it again, fraying the edges more and adding more stringy bits on the seams so it doesn't look so crisp. our Moncler project is also going well, looking at all out designs together I noticed the patterns in bold, graphic prints and shapes and primary colours. Tom reminded me that is doesn't have to be all technical skin wear, this has put my mind at ease as I was struggling to create technical skin wear knowing nothing about it.

I spent most of the rest of the week focusing on our Group project.i was tasked with creating a print that can be used throughout all our pieces. I am happy with how this has turned out, as it is geometric and bold whilst still being a floral design.

I have enjoyed making this pattern greatly. I am struggling to complete my designs, as I keep getting distracted. I plan to fix this by taking a break this weekend and then coming back to it with a clear mind. I feel as if I have started to overthink the design process and that has left me stuck for ideas.
