Final Paper Dress

Following the 2 day Workshop with Felicity Brown, I continued to work on my design. I wanted to make a huge train, and incorporate white paper into it as well. though I loved the original concept I wanted to add so much more until the dress was huge.

From here I decided to play around on a smaller model so I didn't run out of material. I loved being able to expand my ideas and go crazy with the scale of the skirt. I also loved the effect that the scrunched up paper had. I found myself letting the paper determine what shaped I used for the dress without altering much myself. this created some very interesting lines.
