The Week Before Our First Deadline

Monday- Woke up with a list of things running around my head, so much to do.

Tried to focus on my technical file, I want to get it done by the end of the day, need to ask Chloe about some things. managed to hem my yoke skirt, so finally done with that, still don't like it.

ended up writing this instead of doing technical stuff.

Life drawing class super fun used ink instead of pencil loved the effect of it. although I'm not too happy with the drawings, unfortunately you can't rub out ink so when you mess up it stays there.

Tuesday- Today was a mad rush to finish my final lineup and presentation boards

spent all day doing presentation boards, sort of happy with them.

I was up until 3am doing work with Katie listening to indie music and running on caffeine. Got loads of work done, super happy about it!

Wednesday- I was going to go in and do my 3D form but I decided to stay home and get the essay done instead, as well as finish off some sketchbook stuff. My sketchbook looks really empty which is worrying me a bit! in not sure its good enough so I,ll have a look and see what I can add.

Thursday- Today was super productive, I went into uni at 9:30 and worked on my 3D form all day. I'm happy with it, though I wish I'd had a lighter coloured velvet so the top design shows better. Really love the caging and cubes on it though!

When id finally finished the form I designed my back views for the final lineup and put everything in photoshop to print. Only got home around 7:30 and stayed up working to make sure everything is ready for tomorrow.

Friday- DEADLINE DAY! Not as stressed as I thought I'd be, which worries me a bit to be honest. I can't wait to hand this project in and have a bit of a break. I have learnt so many incredible things throughout this project, from photoshop to draping, from technical skills to new ways of creating new ideas. Im also super excited for the next project as we will be doing print work.
