Tom asked us to bring in 10 different forms from throughout our project in A6. These were printed 10 times so we ended up with 100 forms, (this turned out to be far too many because I sketched some of my ideas instead of using the photos as I found this much easier) We then made a sort of grid and combined our ten forms so come up with 25 new ideas. I loved how these came out and how fast I managed to create new ideas. I think once you have the basic ideas it becomes much easier to create new ideas, I was worried I would become too focused on a certain idea but I really like the range I created.

The downside would have to be how much money I spent printing these sheets out. I still have about half of them left which is kind of a waste. Luckily my printer is now fixed which means I can save money printing pictures on A4.

I loved the final 10 ideas I traced, combining several already combined forms. I am so happy with the ideas its great to see all the work I've done coming together. Before this I felt like my ideas were all a bit random but its much more clear now. I can see similar patterns and ideas emerging.

From these final 10 sketches I produced my final 6 for the lineup, this took a mixture of combining some of my final 10, clearing some out completely and using some designs as they were. I found it hard to add colour to them and decide what fabrics I would use but am really happy with what I came up with in the end.
