Mood Board Feedback

As part of our project tom gave us a space on the boards around the room to create a mood board. I picked out all my Favourite bits from my sketchbook and stuck them up using masking tape. until this point I hadn't really seen my work coming together it had been more of a collection of random ideas. However putting them all up together I began to see similar ideas emerging.
I loved all the bright colours, small pops of primary colours were scattered all over my mood board. There was something missing from it originally but I couldn't work out what.

We then had a feedback session with Tom where he and Kate as well as other students critiqued our ideas and gave us feedback on our ideas. I found this incredibly useful because to be honest I was stuck at that point, not really sure where to go next or what to focus on.

For one I needed to get some fabric samples and figure out what I needed to create these. Kate mentioned how my ideas looked like they were more structural, more 3D as oppose to flat body hugging forms. She suggested I experiment with wire and create more structured fashion. This is something I am really excited to try out.

I need to create more forms and experiment with 3d over 2d fabrics, Use different textures and colours for paneling, instead of all the same fabrics. Finally I need to have a go at using materials other than standard fabrics such at wire and plastic to create more sculptured 3D forms.
