She waltzed into her bedroom, the heaviness of day to day life firmly on her shoulders, yet she remained upright. Flinging open her wardrobe doors she smiled. Today she would wear something special. For no particular reason, no special occasion just the simple fact that sometimes all you need is to feel good in your own skin, and let the rest of the world worry about itself.
Skimming through the more formal side of her wardrobe she bit her lip in concentration. running her fingers over fabrics, feeling each individual texture. She stopped, smiling at her little black dress, the one she had made for her birthday party a while back. Simple yet sexy, reserved yet begging for some fun.
Feeling powerful and happy in her outfit she grabbed an ice cream for breakfast because hey, why not sometimes. Then, Picking up her usual coffee order she stepped out into the sun, ready to take one the world. Carrying the energy of a great party with her through out the day, in the form of a dress.
There is something great about a dress you can wear during the day through work and meetings, coffee appointments and ice cream dates as well as to nights out with friends, filled with dancing and laughter. Suddenly the world isn't so terrifying. You can relax and live life with a bit of energy.
