Velvet Jacket, Designed, Made and Modeled

Inspired by current fashion trends, such as the use of velvet and embroidery and my love for floral. i used an old Blazer pattern by Simplicity, altering it to fit my design.

I collaborated with Sally Brown, My sister who is currently studying photography to produce these photos.

This was part of my A 'level coursework. I wanted to design a high end jacket inspired by florals .

I wanted this piece to portray the strength and power of women. Whilst being stylish and original. I believe statement pieces are essential to every wardrobe, they show personal style and stand out in a crowd of neutrals just as the woman wearing them do.
